I actually like that paint. The first issue in red has been my favorite.Purple was cool, but all the other graphic jobs have sucked,IMHO.

Re: new hot wheels truck

before i ever knew what this truck was i always liked it, now i realize it's a 67-72 of course. on the chassis it says '69 chevy custom, so "custom includes a 71-72 front end i suppose.

Re: new hot wheels truck

Sorry, not the first. I've got that one, and red, purple, purple with a 69 graphic and also a green one from a wrestling promo that says mundo lucha on the doors and Guerrero De Dos Caras on the rear fenders.

If anyone has anything different than them, let me know so I know what to look for.

French, that is awesome. I have a collection, although not as big as yours, that I have had since I was pre-teen (25 years ago). I've been wanting to get back into it lately and you have definitely inspired me.

Re: new hot wheels truck

I have the primer gray, primer black.... 2 each on them (tried to sell a set on e-bay...no bids)
one solid red
one solid purple
one red with yellow and blue stripes on the rockers
and one green as pictured above.
All sealed in packages.
The whole time I was crising around in that town car I had a red one on the dash.

I also have a black 71/72 cheyenne with cheesey speakers in the back, about the size of the dubs trucks. Got it at the gas station for 5 bucks, down from 10 becouse a mirror was busted off. It had daton true spoke rims on there, but I ripped them off and put some craiger ss rims on it.

Re: new hot wheels truck

I've been seeing the yellow one at wall mart for a year now, but I'm not going to buy a 5 pack just for one car.
Is it sold in it's own packaging yet?
