I guess the width and offset may have made the difference. I was pushing it pretty hard when I got mine to scrub. I was turning fast uphill into a parking spot with the wheels cut all the way to one side. I think when I bump up to a 17" I will be fine.

I'm really diggin these in 17". They are Cragar series 390 Street Pro's. I think they would look killer on a 67-72.

I think those rims are pretty slick too. What I don't like is the fact they have a steel rim and an aluminum center. I don't want anything that could rust. I am leaning towards Torque thrust II or the Torque thrust O (original style with the light grey center) Ansen sprint (slots). I have also looked at the billet specialties Vintec. I want something with a retro look to it.

Looks great! Have you looked into the slt muscle mags? They look like the cool 70's slots but you can get them in 17". I might have to price some when I get the $$.

I checked out the slt muscle mags. They are right at the same money as the American racing Ansen Sprint which is probably what I would buy if I go with a slot. I am still undecided.
