I have had them stick in some pretty remote places in all but one case it was the hose more specifically the metal holddown clamp that the hose is routed thru gets rust between the clamp and hose and over time compresses the hose till problems occur I have cut the clamp and relieved the pressure allowing the brakes work as they should then bought or fabbed up new clamps problem solved on the cheeeeeep you might give it a try later Miike
