? Did Some ? Or not at all ?

Did some short beds come with 2-driveshafts ar did they only come with one? The reason is there is a "shortbed" at the junk yard. The only problem I can see why it wouldn't be a SHORTBED is the rear-end is cut and there is a carrier bearing in the cross member. Any help before I spend the money?

There were 2pc. shortbeds as well as 3pc.Are you saying thr rear most part was cut off the frame rails?Or,was there a cut/splice in front of the axle?The tail can be fixed.

It was the rear tail. But my concern is that it is not a actual short bed? The reason is it just looks werd with the rear cut.

I had a 71 GMC SWB with a one piece shaft. My 72 Chevy SWB that I currently own had a two piece from the factory.

thanks for the answered ? now is all the shortbed trailing arms connected under the cab and the long beds at the edge of the cab?

Original 6 cylinder trucks with 3 speed trans had 1 piece shafts.

Others had two piece shafts.
