Re: Neighbors....
Personally, I think its pretty mild. Dual 2.25 pipes with normal turbo mufflers. Quiter than masters. But then again I do drive this to work and leave at 6:40 every morning

Re: Neighbors....
I can't stand people that do that. Especially with this new "computer age" nobody talks to anyone in person anymore I guess tomorrow morning let them know you got their note... I think a few engine revs and a long squealy will get their attention. J/K. But seriously, I'd ignore it and just do what you've been doing, because I'm sure they are just the "perfect" neighbors and have done nothing annoying themselves....

Did you order the LMC kit too??? I wanted the glass packs but when I called they said it was on a six week backorder and I needed mufflers right then and ended up ordering the turbo muffler kit. And yes, I do agree that it is considerably quiter than most dual systems. It sounds good, but not too loud.

Re: Neighbors....
The neighbors get my pipes between 0300 and 0400. No complaints yet, but my driveway ends just about 50 feet from their bedroom window.

Re: Neighbors....
Ever just get a sick kid to sleep after being up most of the night only to have it wakened by a noisy motor...whether it be a truck, car, motorcycle, or lawn equipment? Or how about an elderly loved one just home from the hospital that needs rest? Yes, I know you may not have had either, but I can tell you first hand it can really pi$$ you off.

Then what's the problem with going over and talking to the person with the "noisy motor" IN PERSON? Why leave a note ON A NAPKIN in a MAILBOX. Did you know it's against FEDERAL LAW to put ANYTHING in a mailbox that wasn't deliverd by the USPS?

Re: Neighbors....
That's why I live on 11 acres in the country. Does it have headers? Uncap them and do some "tuning" on your engine about 1am.

Re: Neighbors....
If you knew which neighbor it was, you could leave them a napkin with
"Go to bed earlier" or "Would you rather I quit my job, stay home, and TUNE my truck all day?" or "Fine. I will quit my job and raise Pitbulls at home then!" ....they should look on the bright side.....you could ride a Harley to work!!!

Re: Neighbors....
Those people get around. They left me a note saying I should learn how to park my truck. I was inside the lines but I got the beauty spot near the front door.

Re: Neighbors....
It seems to me was a pretty nice way to let you know your truck is disturbing some people. It wasn't *****y or mean like some anonymous commemts can be...the sad face was cute.
I would take it as someone asking for a neighbourly favour and do what you can to minimize the noise you make...within reason. It takes work to live in a community.

Re: Neighbors....
I have been on both sides of this. I have had glasspacks on my chevelle, and have little to no exhaust left on my truck right now. I've also had a neighbor who refused to check his car alarm when it went off. It went off every time a loud stereo went by. Then honked for 30 seconds. Usually 3 times every night. I did try to go by, but he wouldn't answer his door.
In consideration, I try to coast in to my parking space, and keep from revving unnecasarily when it is early morning, or late at night. Now noon is a different story.

Re: Neighbors....
when all i had was headers on, folks came out of ther house Clapping and cheering in my neighborhood. They all knew that i'd been working on it for over 6 month's trying to get it working. They were glad to hear it roar. For the next few days all i could say after anyone talked to me was, "HUH?!"
