Re: Pvc Valve

Off carb-more vacuum pull. Also it will kill fuel signal to # 8 cylinder.

Re: Pvc Valve

Will work fine that way as the trans and booster are both closed systems.

Re: Pvc Valve

can you elaborate why it would kill fuel signal? i know if you didnt have it hooked to port vacuum it would loose vacuum off idle, but i dont really understand the fuel signal thng.

Re: Pvc Valve

I will try. If you install your PCV line on the intake at that point (intake runner to #8 cylinder) you will loose most of your vacuum pull to the PCV valve itself because it is "open" to the outside air. When # 8 cylinder is on the intake stroke it cannot pull any fuel in because the port is open to the outside air the same as if the intake gasket was leaking at that port. The reason you can put your powerbrake booster and trans modulator on the intake is that they are closed to the outside air. A PCV valve is just a controled vacuum. ( The above explanation comes from a 70 year "young" gear head-me) LOL
