whats it worth and opinion time

a friend of mine has a panel for sale and im sorta semi kicking around picking it up for a future, maybe, project. its a 69 and all i would be getting would be the body minus the front clip. no interior, drivetrain, etc. its actually in pretty darn good shape metal wise. and i have extra front clips, 68 and 71 style. any ideas on what this would be worth? i know it varies from area to area, and i know panels are kinda rare, but i also know there isnt much demand for them. 1500? 1000? less? and my other question is does anyone have a pic of one of these all finished up? not photoshopped. just a nice panel with nice tires wheel combo, maybe lowered a little. i just cant decide if these things can be made to look good...lol. thanks for any input....oh and sorry, no pics.

If your under the 2 grand range I dont see how you can lose.

I see panels becoming more sought after as time goes by.

Especially with good metal... Stash it if nothing else..

But I'm biased...I think there just plain cool.

A few pics of panels I have...

First pic is a pretty sweet 4x4. Second was for sale here in Canada and I believe is just a 3/4 ton Panel...

I'd say $300-500 with just the body, but cheaper is better so start low and go from there. They are cool and the 4X4 is wicked.
