Late model leaf spring rear swap?

All the talk today about rear end/axle swapping got me to thinking, I know, dangerous stuff!

My 68 GMC has a dana 60 (8 lug) with leaf springs and 4:10's.

What are the chances of finding a later model rear end with leaf springs (8 lug) and maybe 3:73's that I can just bolt in? Or would I be better off to just buy 3:73's to go in the dana 60?

all input welcome.
Thanks for reading.
