2 for 1 thread! 1-Q? and Project Updates
Ok I've got project updates along with a pretty simple Q? (I hope)
>Q? - I need the dimensions/specs for the lumber for my wood floor? Anyone know the specs? I know it's 1x6 but I need the specs for the recesses for the strips and exact lengths for the boards. I can probably figure it out but I don't mind free info. Now on to the important stuff... >Project updates w/pics: As you can see the grille leaves something to be desired. The fitment leaves a gap at each end between the front stainless trim and the grille, revealing the filler panel. If I were to push it forward it would then poke out in the center of the grille leaving a large gap. It's not completely adjusted as of yet but you can see the problem I am running up against. I'll take up some more adjustment and see how it looks. (also note this was all done at 11:45PM last night) These are shots from the front. I am satisfied with "the look" from here.

Re: 2 for 1 thread! 1-Q? and Project Updates
Here's some specs Courtesy of MAR-K, one of the board sponsors: http://www.mar-k.com/bedwood_dimensions.pdf.
Wood is Good... I know what you mean 'bout the grille profile not matching the profile of the opening. Is there enough adjustment to purposely recess the grille further into the opening to see how it might look and show off more of the opening all around. Regardless, it's coming along and looking good...

Re: 2 for 1 thread! 1-Q? and Project Updates
Rodz thanks for the link.
If I sink the grille much further the ends will be sunk past the fascia and will leave an opening. I am thinking about fixing the center and pushing out on the ends to maybe make it conform better to the opening. I'll let you know how it goes. Probably tonight again. Also, I hope no one took my comments about the grille wrong. The actual physical material quality of the grille is flawless. It's the installation and possible design of it to fit the grille area that is the problem. TBC....
