Re: 72 Blazer Factory Colors

Have you tried going to the color library?

Here's the link for you.

I'd imagine that if you could order a color on a truck, you could get it on a blazer.

Re: 72 Blazer Factory Colors

It seems to me that GM had a ton of different names for every color. The glove box on my '72 says it is "Red-Orange" but it isn't listed there.

Bouncy, that threw me for a loop also when I was looking to repaint my truck. It looked orange, but the glove said red. It was the red that looks orange.

Re: 72 Blazer Factory Colors

Either Medium Olive or Dark Olive is beautiful.

Wanna play the "What's that color chart say" game?

Here is my take from top down.

1. Midnight Black
2. Caliente Red
3. Tangerine Orange
4. Meadow Green
5. Frost White
6. Meadow Green
7. Shepherd Green
8. Whiffed Yellow ???
9. Maui Blue
10. Water Blue ???
11. Fireball Orange
12. Sierra Green ???
13. Grapefruit Yellow
14. Diesel Bronze ???
15. Sprint Gold ???

I think GMC had their own color schemes. Medium Bronze was a GMC color, if I'm not mistaken. My '71 Jimmy was originally that color, til a PO had it painted Maui Blue [Med Blue metallic].
