Did all C20s come with th400 or did they also come with TH350s as well?

Re: C20 trannys
My 70 C-20 Chevy has a 350.
On another note, is the high hump required for the TH-400 or is it because of the BB motor?

Re: C20 trannys
high hump is for big block with automatic
4X4 4 speed Any combo of the above I have had 2 3/4 ton longhorns and one one ton...2 of them were 350/TH350, and the one parts truck was 307/TH350. |

Re: C20 trannys
My '69 C20 Burb shows on the glove box sticker that it came with a PowerGlide. I believe other C20s had that as well. Mine has a 400 now.

Re: C20 trannys
My question was - is the high hump to accomodate the tranny or the BB. If I take my extra 400 and pair it with one of my 350 engines, do I need the high hump?

Re: C20 trannys
The 400 will work with low hump. My father had a '69 GMC 1/2 ton with a factory equipped TH400, 350 engine and low hump.

Re: C20 trannys
My truck has a 350/TH400 with a low hump cab and yes it will fit. The cab isn't original since my truck originally had a 4speed, but the truck it came from was a C20 Longhorn w/ a 133in wheelbase and it had a 350/TH350 in it.
