what tranny do you have

Let's see what the majority runs for a tranny.
T350, T400, 200R, 700R or standards.

18 voters and 1 reply, what a turn out. TH350 for me, but hopefully an OD in the future.

I love my 700r4 and if you ask Luv cruising down the interstate at 90 is pretty nice.

700R4 here, love it, I would only trade it for a 5 or 6 speed manual....

I've got the 700R4 but 90% of my driving is in town. I rarely get into OD.

Re: what tranny do you have

I've owned 6 vehicles, and all but 1 have been gear jammers!!! And that poor automatic probably thought it was a standard, I'd get bored driving it, and start manually shifting it...

Worn out TH400. The truck originally had a SM465, which I'd rather have.

Re: what tranny do you have

'69 has a 3-sp saginaw.
'70 has a th350
Dano
NOTE: 3-sp manual has never given me trouble in 10+ years, can't say the same for the th350. The 3-sp is used daily and the th350 used about twice a month.

Re: what tranny do you have

My c2500 still has the original t350 in 'er and still works great with 175,190 miles on it! (knock on wood!) Pulled a lotta stock cars thru the years, abused it gettin stuck in the winter, drove the heck out of it in the heat. I have a rebuilt t350 for the Jimmy, but it was workin fine when I took it out with 156K on it.
