Looking for replacement blower box for 77 c10

Does anyone know were to find replacement blower boxes for a '77 c10. My blower broke loose again and burnt out. It has done it quite a few times now and I don't have anything left to screw into anymore. In other words it's past time to replace it. Or is there a way of fiberglassing it with metal mesh and getting it to look clean?

If you are looking for a new one you might try LMC truck or I guess the standard answer is to look at the junk yard. If you don't have any luck those routes, I am pretty sure I have one from a 75-77 non A/C truck and one from a 83 that had A/C.

Woelf90 welcome to the forum. It depends on how destroyed your box is, and how good you are with a fiberglass patch kit. It can be rebuilt, but your better off trying to buy a used one from a salvage yard, or a new one from one of our forum vendors.

I have to interject a friendly word of caution here. The forum rules do not allow "wanted to buy" posts by nonsubscribing members. Right now your post appears to be trying to gain information so I will leave it open. If this changes to a wanted to buy thread it will be closed.

Thanks Beater, I am hoping to find a new one. The ones you find in a junk yard are usually pretty ate up. I was trying to find a source for an aftermarket housing. LMC has everything inside the housing, but not the housing itself. Anyone else have any ideas or sources?
