Question '88 'burb rear air suspension

I was wondering what a good rear air bag suspension set up would be for an '88 Suburban. I've checked out a few places. Air ride tech had a good one but it was to expensive. 3 link, 4link , weld on, bolt on? Thanks for any help

Are the frames the same on the '88 burbs & '88-'98 pickups?

I will be starting the install on my '88 burb hopefully this week (my Millermatic 251 is supposed to show up today, I'm giddy like a school girl ). An '88 would not have the same frame as a '88-98 truck...burb's didn't switch body styles until '92....and nobody I know of makes a 'burb specific kit for the rear of a '73-'91 burb...I have a Suicidedoors parallel four link and F9000's that I will be using but I'm not totally sure how I'll be mounting my bags as of right now. I am going to wait til we get the notches in to see exactly what we have to work with.

Hopefully I'll remember to take pics

I would say give KP a call and see what they have to say...it may fit with a little cutting. I do know when I bought a hanger and shackle kit for mine that the hangers were definitely different and wouldn't bolt up without some cutting (we have a body mount to deal with right by the hanger, I assume trucks don't) I will definitely try to take good progress picks for you guys. Which four link are you thinking of using Beer?

Hey guys I just talked to Clint over at KP. He wasnt sure if the bolt patterns were the same for '88 Burbs & 73-87 pickup bolt on link. May have to do a little modification to get it to work. There may be a support in the way as well.

I have one I am going to be doing in the future. Are you guys going to have to cut much out of the floor to clear the notches and Axle clearances? Also isn't the front suspension the same as the trucks (73-87)?
