cab to bed space

Hello I know some one can help me out with this one.

What is the correct cab to bed space (from the back of the cab to the top edge of the bed)this is on a fleet sife truck if it makes a difference.

I am trying to get things aligned and I am runing into issues

I have 1" between the back of the cab and the front bed wall and ~ 5/8 of an inch down the sides

This is a good question. I recently set the bed back on my truck (stepside) and I found that it can be pushed as close as 5/8" and pulled back as far as 1-1/8 (from the front of the bedwall to the back of the cab. I settled for something around 7/8".
