TOTM-July 2006-Fleeting Moment
The theme for this month’s TOTM is
Fleeting Moment Now here are the rules or criteria for the vehicles being nominated To be nominated for this month’s theme • Open to all year fleetside pickups (short and long bed, 2WD and 4WD). • It must be currently street legal and at least occassionally on the road. • If a truck has won a TOTM already in the last 6 months, you are ineligable. If you were nominated and didn't get selected as a TOTM winner then you may be nominated and compete in this month's category. Also if it is a different truck than that won prior, you may also compete. To Nominate: You or someone else may nominate your truck. Just add the nomination to this thread. We will need a picture of the nominee vehicle, the owner’s board name, and the basics specs of the truck (year, engine/drive train specs). You or your nominator can provide additional info if desired. Nominees will be accepted until July 22 If additonal information is needed, then I will PM the first 10 nominees to get any additional data or pictures if they haven’t already been provided. You can PM me for an e-mail address in case anyone has problems resizing them for the board. We will then put together a Poll Thread and announce it here on the General Discussion Board for the voting. The Poll will start to run on July 23 and will run till the morning of July 30. The official announcement of the winner will be on the afternoon of July 30 through the General Discussion Board area. So catch a fleeting glance and get those nominations in.

Re: TOTM-July 2006-Fleeting Moment
I nominate 71see10 and his 71 pickup. He hasn't owned it long but he has been bustin' his tail on it. He found this a couple hours from here in Alabama. The guy had owned it for 25 years and claims it was garage kept the entire time. Since taking ownership most of his time has been spent detailing and painting under the hood. Future plans include A/C , drop , headers , freshening up the engine and so on and on and on . I have a couple pics on file, maybe he will jump in with some more.
A couple more.. Last edited by see ten; 07-17-2006 at 05:17 AM. Reason: added pictures |

Re: TOTM-July 2006-Fleeting Moment
I would like to nominate my truck. '69 Longbed with '71 front clip; SB350 with TH350 tranny. Items of interests and modifications: hidden receiver hitch so that the 1969 Texas truck plates can be plainly seen; disk brake / power booster conversion so I can stop without planning a block ahead; $10 headlight buzzer purchased from board member, PICKUPMAN, so that I stop running down my battery; and dual saddle tanks. I inherited from my Dad a couple years back and I call it Tightlines in his honor. Not a show truck, but a great daily driver. Definately my 3 year old little girl's favorite vehicle to ride around in. Thanks for your consideration.

Re: TOTM-July 2006-Fleeting Moment
I would like to nominate the truck I told you guys I sold! I am in the process of demanding it's return due to non payment from a "friend".
This is Jebb 1978 Chevy Scottsdale 70K Actual Miles, Original down to the paint. It has a 350 with a 4 speed, I did add an Edlbrock Intake and carb as well as a little chrome. Still have all the Original parts.
