oil drain plug
Our drain plug is 1/2-20 correct? I have a plug that uses what looks like an aluminum washer to seal is this better then the rubber ones?
anyone ever use the ez-drain plugs that oreilys sells? made by dorman

I believe that size (1/2 x 20) with a 9/16" head is correct because I recently bought one. It came with the blue rubber/plastic gasket. I have to look under my truck to see if it stopped my leak!

I am wondering how hard it will be to get the aluminum gasket to seal to my oil pan? Should I tighten it more than with a rubber one?
