parting my 70 4x4 burb

hey all-
i hate to do it, but its time to put 'er down....
body parts are not in good shape, and if i missed something you need let me know. thanks!

.030 1970 454 runs great, but developed a rod knock. probably needs a crank and a rod, but did not spew parts out. $200 intake to pan, waterpump to flexplate, with ps and alt.

thm 400/205 transfercase with un-installed n.i.b. rebuild kit. works perfect, with adaptor and converter all-in-one. $750

holley pro-jection kit complete- 900 cfm throttle body fuel injection. 4d with controller, fuel pump, o2 sensor, manual.... etc. ready to run. $300

4-core radiator in good shape- $100

jacobs 'energy team' electronic ignition stuff- $50

axle pair- front dana 60, track lock diff, extra new rotor, spare open carrier, crossover steering stuff included, 14 bolt floating rear from a van(correct suburban width!) with detroit locker diff, big drum brakes and both come with driveshafts and 456 r&p $2500

nice 4" lift kit, very soft ride and lots of wheel travel! all springs! comes with shocks and all the hardware that doesn't strip coming off. should be all good. $500 (this was lots of bucks to get done right)

6) 38x15.5x16.5 radial swampers, 2 like new(front), 2 almost new(rear) and 2 that hold air(spares) on factory dog-dish hubcap type steel 16.5x9.75 wheels with all the lugnuts- $1000

brand new black dashpad- $25

factory tach in a cluster that is not in original shape- had other guages added in stock holes. $25

'97 suburban middle seat modified to fit in front location in 67-72. neutral colored fabric in very nice shape and has matching '97 sub 3rd seat to go with it! $300

all glass is good- $25/pc?

headliner and doorpanels have been recovered in tan tweed-
not too beat up $100/all w/ trim and headliner strip

i perfer not to ship, but i will at your expense. i'd rather you come pick up and see what you are getting to avoid hassles later. i'm in redwood city california, south of san francisco. best way to contact me is @ knobbylips@aol.com

thanks!

Re: parting my 70 4x4 burb

thanks for the responses so far-
i dont want to take the truck apart untill there is enough interest to make most of it go away. right now the deal hinges on special k's interest in the rolling chassis. how much do you want special? frame, suspension, steering, axles, wheels/tires? lemme know

Re: parting my 70 4x4 burb

Well,I was asking more on other`s behalf. The Suburban frames(4wd)are unique and have a value for converting 2wds.What I had in mind was the tires/wheels,axles/suspension,T-case/trans,steering,and frame.Or,any combination.I`m not claiming "dibs" at this point.

Re: parting my 70 4x4 burb

WOW $5,875.00 worth in parts, I'm really considering parting out my burb. It seems its better to part it out than to sell it.
