Parklights wont work (Painful Wiring)

Just finished the painless wiring install in my truck, but now the parklights won't work when the headlight switch is all the way on, when the switch is in the parklight position they work, the tailights work in either position.

Re: Parklights wont work (Painful Wiring)

could it be a kit for a 67, or maybe a universal kit wired up like a 67? That is exactly how a 67 works.

Here's another new twist, when the switch in parklight mode, the side marker and front signal flash opposite, when the switch is in headlight mode they flash together. Wonder if it makes a difference if the headlights are intstaled or not (mine aren't)

Re: Parklights wont work (Painful Wiring)

hows your turnsignal switch? my parklights acted funny after my painless kit (i dont remember what they did, but weird)....turned out my turnsignal switch mess was missing several key components.

otherwise, double check all your wires
