Re: Is this the same truck that is on this site?
No I'm very sorry to say that it is not my truck. I am hoping that mine comes out as nice. Hopefully (fingers crossed) I will have Lemon Drop painted by next summer. Kevin and I will keep you posted on the progress of Lemon Drop.

Re: Is this the same truck that is on this site?
It is an awesome truck and I wasn't trying to be picky. There are a few things I would change if it was mine....tastes differ. The point was that the battery just looks so out-of-place. A box, of any kind, would fix it. Aluminum, stainless, spray bedliner, anything. You could even paint it body color and it would seem to disappear.

Re: Is this the same truck that is on this site?
The battery is an Optima deep cycle....it's yellow...I'm sure that's where he was trying to go with the Battery. I liked it at first glance...then

Re: Is this the same truck that is on this site?
Here's my take. The truck is done up awesome. Someone really put some time into all of it. We all have "OUR" trucks and we all have "SO" much money that we can or can't use on our trucks, and IDEAS that we will put into "OUR" trucks. He put "HIS" into this yellow truck and I have to say fit and finish looks awesome. Is it for me....NO. Would I bash him cause he didn't put his battery somewhere else, NO. Maybe a spray-in box cover would have made it mor stealthy??? Who cares, I could care less if the battery was on top of the center console!
I like some things shaved...but I like door handles and mirrors, and tail lights so I can drive it to go get a freekin burger and a beer! Bottom line...Do what you want to YOUR truck. My mother once said "If you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing at all"! Peace out....beeeeooooches |

Re: Is this the same truck that is on this site?
i have a mag lay out on that truck, I beleve a father and son duo did all that fab work in there own garage, not bad considering they did the work them selves that welded in grill and front end took some extinsive work and time take a second look. suttle changes like this is what makes you go man how they do that. every time you look at the truck you see something new..
