Clark 5sp Trans. Ratios???
Does anyone know where I can find out the gear ratios of a Clark 282-V 5sp? Thanks in advance.

I did a google search and came up with this page. It lists a 280V don't know it that would be the same or not, might be worth some more google searching. http://www.garbee.net/~cabell/transmission.htm

According to the GM Factory Overhaul Manual the 282-V ratios are:
1st.-6.99 2nd-4.09 3rd-2.17 4th-1.17 5th-1.00 Reverse-5.89 All ratios are (to 1)
