Is there any good way to clean spark plugs?

Yes, after I wrote this I came to the same conclusion and figured that once I have my carb adjusted correctly and can make sure using the new plugs, I can clean the electrode off the old ones(if a bit yucky) and throw them in again knowing that everything is good to go. Besides, I only have to buy 6 anyway!
