Re: Power steering

Just my .02 I had put p/s on my 54 i had a few years ago. I used a box off of an 73-87 chevy truck. i ordered the conversion kit form Golden State, which was a nice kit and fairlly easy to install. But when I got the truck roadworthy, I didnt like the way the truck handled. It was to squirrelly and all over the road even after a front end alignment. Another member on the board had mentioned to me about putting a shorter arm on the stock box, so my 1 buddy had an old 53 and we cut about 2" out of a stock arm and it felt great while driving down the road. There are all kinds of options out there you choose what you really want and you can afford
