How difficult is it to convert a 4wd 350 for passenger use. I expect the case and shaft need changed, along with a seal and bushing. Anyone lend some advice to a novice on this changeover?

Depends of what TH350 you have to work with. Most of the cases I've seen, have a 4bolt flange for mounting to the transfercase adapter to bolt to. If it's like that, You're good to go. You'll have to have the tailshaft/output taken out for a 2wd unit. And then a tailend casing piece can go one. I got quotes to do the same thing.....anywhere from $150-200 to do this. I just ended up Trading my 4x4 unit for a 2wd unit. Looks like this when done....
