Re: another jack question

You may get lucky and find one if you can still find any 67-72's in JY's in your area. They're all gone here as far as I know. I passed up a jack/tool kit back in 1997 at a Wyoming junkyard, and have kicked myself in the backside numerous times for that. I don't think anyone is repopping these.

Cool Re: another jack question

Hello. I'm new to the boards. I recently picke-up a 72 GMC SWB wide body. I love it. Bought it from the original owner. I found the factory jack and stuff under the seat. Does anybody know how to properly stow that stuff? I can't figure it out. Thanks!

Re: another jack question

unless you simply want the original jack...to be original... just go get a new bottle jack. Better in many ways, and I can't think of a single drawback of a properly maintianed bottle jack verses a mechanical one.

There should be a spring on the passenger side in the back by the gas tank for it to go.Welcome to the site, btw
I found the original jack and all that good stuff in my 71 C10 and I am thinking about going junkyard hunting today so I will keep my eyes open for original jacks.
