Front running light question

My 67's front running lights go out when you turn on the headlamps. The T/S still works but what I am wondering is if this i normal. I cant find any info. on this. Maybe I wired it wrong and I am asking anyone with a stock 67 to please go out and take a look.
Thanks

Re: Front running light question

Around here we called them parking lights and yes they went out when you pulled the headlights on.

Re: Front running light question

That's not to say they couldn't be made to stay on with the headlamps I'm sure.

Re: Front running light question

I don't remember which terminal to use but simply moving a wire on the H/L switch will keep them on.

Re: Front running light question

It's 100% normal for a 67 and 68 truck.

Re: Front running light question

no, not 68, only 67 and older.
Thats why they were called parking lights, and from 68 to date, they are refered to as running lights.
