72 Blazer 2wd (humble beginnings)

This is what I am starting with. I actually have had this thing running and drove it down my road. Now the engine is out and the gas tank has been removed. (was weeping gas out of the rust on the bottom of tank.) The Blazer had sat out in a feild for 6 to 7 years. It needs a frame off but I have too many projects. I have a used engine out of a 72 GMC truck I plan to drop in. I also have used gas tank out of a 72 Suburban I plan to use. I would like to get it driveable and start on the body panel replacement. It had some nice options cst, tinted glass, air, tach and a 350 4bbl 4spd. It will have to wait til spring.

Lots of 2wd's showing up lately - that is great! Good luck on the project.

Amen to what LUV said. I went to the Houston Autorama yesterday and have been going since I was a child holding my dad's hand. I still have yet to see a 2wd blazer. Makes me want to roll mine out at the show soon!!!!!! Need to get going I guess. Good luck with your project and keep it no matter how long it takes you.
