Re: can someone give me a step by step on

Do not remove your rocker boxes until you have replaced your floors and rockers and such until you have welded them back in and make sure to brace your cab really well and leave the top on. Also, I am sure you know, make sure you leave it bolted on the frame while you do this. I like to remove the front end for me so when I install my rockers it is easier to adjust your door with the fenders missing. Cut off your rockers first. Then cut the least amount of floor as possible. Leave your cuts a little long on the floor first or leave tabs of the old floor to be able to screw on to, to secure the floor patch panels too, test fit your rocker to the floor and screw in to place. Install your door to check all of your fit. If everything looks good tack a few spots in place. Keep checking the fit of your door because once you start to weld things will move a bit as the metal expands and contracts with welding. After you get everything fully welded start working on removing the rocker box if you need too. Is it completely rusted out? That will take a little longer since they use stitch welds in several spots. Good luck and let me know if you have any more questions.
