WTB Jimmy or Blazer project
Looking for a project truck. It is going to be for a freind of mine, and I don't want to fix rust. (You will not see it on the board or C/L being sold or parted out)
The blazer or Jimmy: need not run need not roll need not have a title (but prefered) back fees out the wazoo OK Needs to NOT be a rust bucket Needs to NOT have bondo Needs to NOT to be stripped within an inch of its life. Needs to NOT be catastrophically wrecked (no rollovers, or trees falling on it.) I will consider anything, the tub is the most important part. Needs to be within an hour or two of the Sacramento area. Please, if you don't have anything to offer, please don't post in the thread. Thank you Last edited by masterbeavis; 12-03-2006 at 05:34 PM. |

Re: WTB Jimmy or Blazer project
That's a pretty tall order. Rust is a huge issue with most of these trucks. Most of the rust-free rigs have been snagged, although they can still be found if you are patient. Keep an eye in your area down to AZ & TX for the best luck finding one without rust.
What's your buddy's budget anyway?

Re: WTB Jimmy or Blazer project
I am looking for something I can drive to and inspect, hence the 2 hr radius of Sac. I am willing to drive a little further, but not much. This is cali, I have turned down nicer rigs, now I want one, so they wont be as easy to find. 1K is my budget. With my criteria, I should have an easy time finding a suitable project. I have turned up a lead, I will inspect tommorow.
All it really needs is a good tub, a frame, and the interior. Last edited by masterbeavis; 12-04-2006 at 12:22 AM. |

Craigslist is probably one of your best resources.
Let us know if the lead turns out.

Craigslist is where I found this lead. Crazedlist.org is a great tool for craigslist surfers.
