Re: How many 67 3/4 ton 4WD.....
I got a '67 suburban 4x4 1/2 ton and I've only seen one other '67 burb 4x4 on the net and it was a member from this site, but it was a 3/4 ton.

Re: How many 67 3/4 ton 4WD.....
I've got a line on a 67 1/2 T long fleet 4wd that I'm hoping to pick up in the next week or so. I have no idea what options. The motor is blown, but it's supposed to be a factory 4spd 4wd military truck! For $300. The owner claims very little rust, no cancer, very few dings( not wrecked). I should be on my way with a trailer and cash in my pocket next weekend. If it's in the shape they claim, it's coming home with me!

Re: How many 67 3/4 ton 4WD.....
They definitely offered air in 67'...all numbers on cab/frame/engine/etc., match and option sticker shows all existing options (AIR, v8,4 speed, HD springs, lock hubs, deluxe, etc.).
I am just surprised that I cant find ONE more since if there were 2700 fleetsides and you figure on the HIGH side 20-25% got A/C there should hundreds of these made.....does that make sense? |

Re: How many 67 3/4 ton 4WD.....
Only 3% of all 1967 trucks (1/2 ton to 2 ton) were ordered with A/C. So, ya, A/C on your 67 is rare....

Re: How many 67 3/4 ton 4WD.....
this info is from the Standard catalog of american light duty trucks.
So, 3% of all 67 trucks (1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, 1 ton, 2 wheel and 4 wheel) where made with factory air. There is a thread in FAQ that shows production numbers for each year, so you can find the total there and do the math. |

Re: How many 67 3/4 ton 4WD.....
Yessir ...small window it is. I found the prod. #'s in FAQ and it looks like the math is correct. A very rare bird it is when you add the other options the truck has.

I have a 67 GMC 2500 2wd that has a air cab, was thinking of swapping it onto my 67 K20 but running a standard heater. I just wanted to use the cab because it's in better shape than my original. |
