Project 66-PONTIAC?

I don't know what the previous owner was thinking. Finally got the Pontiac motor out today-with trans-automatic. The engine was sitting on solid mounts and the trans crossmember was shimmed up 2 and a half inches to try and rock the engine forward to fit. It didn't fit. Anyway, I have a choice between a stock 327 or a slightly built 350- or a reman 350 in a 83 suburban with 0 miles. The 327 is in a 68 pickup-2 barrel-but don't know the history. No smoke from motor though. The 350 is in a 63 pickup with a dual edelbrock quad-don't know history but doesn't smoke either. The reman 350 suburban was put in to sell(3 years ago). Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. + or - . Thanks, Jeff.

I think your in a win win situaton, if it was me I would go with the remaned one. But take into account what YOU want from the motor, performance = dual qaud, nice resto-rod = 327. Reliabity( taking the 0 miles) = reman
Nice spot to be in !!!
