Re: 40 gal Suburban tank?

I put one in my SWB 4x4 71 pickup. no modification to the tank but had to put a small notch the small cross member (second from the rear). Truck had a 6 inch lift and the trailer bar in the back obscured the most of the tank when looking from the rear. I took a cut out fuel door off a 85 blazer and welded it into the side of the bed on the drivers side just before the rear marker light and it looked great.
