I'm sure it will start and run much better after the rebuild. I'm not sure but it looks like the choke may be missing something. Does it work at all? If it's missing parts it may be wiser to buy an electric choke conversion than to try to find any missing parts and get them adjusted right. Jeg's or Summit should have the conversion kits and maybe even a local parts store.
