Re: can a new-B get some

I believe the only way to drag is a bag suspension setup

Personally, if I were to build a bagged truck, I would not go cheap on components.

67-72 SWB chassis/frames go for $100-400 depending on components and condition. If it is 100% complete straight roller for $100 I'd say buy it

Re: can a new-B get some

Its alot of work to get these trucks to lay full frame. And its not all that cheap either. I would say get the shortbed, at least then you could run a one piece driveshaft.

If you build it right, it won't be cheap. I'm a cheap bastard, but even I know it's not a good idea to skimp when it comes to suspension parts. Do it right, do it once.

The less he spends on lowering, the more blocks he can afford. Sheesh

Re: can a new-B get some

how about not dragging anything at all ... I know your local law enforcement officers and the street/road commission in your area would greatly appreciate it.

really and truly there is no need to drag anything and i don't think you will find many guys here who care anything about that sort of thing. The guys here want their trucks as low as possible, but they want to do it WITHOUT dragging anything.

If you are dead set on dragging your truck, you might want to check with a mini-truck forum where they seem to enjoy that sort of thing.

But he only wants to drag the frame. No blocks needed to do this. You should also get plenty sparks also.

Heres you a forum where we love draggin.http://www.dfwkustoms.com/forums/index.php
I like draggin blocks. Most cops around here dont write tickets for it and it doesn't really tear up the road. In a week you dont even see the marks. And here is the kit you need for the front http://*****************/67-87Fullsiz...pperPlates.php

Re: can a new-B get some

AIR is the only way to get low enuff
and blocks are a great idea
titanium is a lil $$$ but its great for special ocasions and you can always use steel for every day use
blocks will also prevent and damage that could be done to frame or suspension
