6lug to 5lug ?
What can I do to change my 6lug to a 5 lug on the rearend without changing whole reaend can I change axles?

I have 6 in the front and 5 in the back right now. Havenīt figured out yet what the old owners changed.

Easiest way is to buy a set of axles. Early Classic Enterprises sells them. You'll also need a pair of 5 lug brake drums too from the parts store or wherever you choose.

Well if your 6lug shafts were on a '70 then you could just buy some 5lugs off a 71 or 72 and slide them in but judging by your name you have a '69 so the easiest thing for you to do is what TXFirefighter said...hit the ECE site and buy their conversion kit with bearings and seals for around $275. If you are feeling spunky and dont mind waiting then give Motive a call and see if they can MAKE you some custom length ones.
The length of the '67-69 shafts is 30-3/4" while the length of the '71-72 shafts is 31-5/16".
