Re: Power brake setup

And this should bolt right up in a 1/2 ton right? If so, definitely interested.

Re: Power brake setup

Yes. It will bolt up and work fine. It has everything you need except for the hose and check valve. Just took pics and it DOES have the check valve. Sorry...it has been in a box and I forgot....

Re: Power brake setup

Are you willing to split this up? If so, can you post a better pic of the master cylinder and prop valve?

Thanks,

John

Re: Power brake setup

if splitting, i may be interested in booster, bracket, and rod. i want to put it on my 69 c-25 but i'm curious if it will work properly since the booster was different between 69 and 72. the bracket and rod the same?

Re: Power brake setup

I would rather leave this together and ship in one box. Shipping to oleblue68 is $23 parcel post or $21 DHL. I do not know if it will work with other years parts. I do know that the whole assembly will fit other years.

Re: Power brake setup

Thanks centsless but I think I'm gonna pass on this one. I got a booster here in better shape than that so I'd rather not pay for the booster + it's shipping if I'm not gonna use it.

Re: Power brake setup

Chevydude...I will get pricing on the shipping in a bit.
msgross...I will take $5 for the shipping, then send something to chevydude if you want since he already paid me for it...
racerman85...this is the setup you were looking at and did not want to use because it was a 3/4 ton setup. If I come across one for a 1/2 ton, I will let you know!!

Re: Power brake setup

$5 sounds cool, is the prop valve in good condition? It would be the only thing "used" on my new brake system.

Chevydude, let me know if you are leaving the prop valve and i'll send you some $$$ too.

Re: Power brake setup

msgross...The valve has some pretty bad rust on it, but did not leak, the switch terminal is clean, and I made sure the lines came out. I left the line nuts in the valve, but they are all loose.

chevydude...the box I had this in is way too big for just the booster. I will try to get a box to fit better tomorrow at work, then price shipping for you.

Re: Power brake setup

I really only want the booster all the brackets, adj rod and bolt. Thanks.

Bob, I believe the brackets, and rod are the same whether it's 3/4 or 1/2 ton. I will use the booster as a core and get a new 1/2 ton C-10 booster a new C-10 MC and new disc/disc P valve, sand blast the brackets.......and she's new again! Ya no...correcto???

Re: Power brake setup

brackets are different, but you can buy a 3/4 ton booster and MC and have even better braking (dual vs single diaphram). autozone sells combo kits for a good price.

Re: Power brake setup

From the pics I have seen, the booster I have is not the dual diaphram. It actually looks identical to the one on my 1/2 ton. I could be wrong, though...
