"Really old truck,used once"

I'm really jazzed right now. I just had a talk with one of my customers gardeners and he told me that another customer of his, in Beverly Hills no less, has a "very very old" truck with a camper on it that he used once on a trip to Grand Canyon with his wife in the '70s and never used since. He wants to sell it for $2000 but only if it sells with the camper. His buddy doesn't want the camper and it is still there. The guy is totally loaded apparently but just wants to get rid of the truck.
>>Ah,the thrill of the hunt.I have no idea what it is,other than it is "really old".
>>Stay tuned,this could be a major strike.

Cool. That's the kind of fun a guy can't get enough of. even if it turns out to be a total POS, the thrill of checking it out will still be worth it.

my truck has the same treatment. it has rags under the tires cause they were left on the floor, perfectly good enough paint, all the options( a spare tire), and its in a garage that is freezing cold in the winter and blistering hot in the summer.

Re: "Really old truck,used once"

I bought this 93 wagon off a old rich guy last summer his garage has carpet on the floor and climate control. It had 50,000 miles on it and looked like it just come of the show room floor.I kind of felt bad a but hagaling on the price he wanted $2500 for it and i got him down to $2250. I bet it wishes it could go home its cold out here.

Re: "Really old truck,used once"

Don`t you love it when someone preserves a vehicle just so they can sell it to you for cheap?I had a boss buy a new F100 once and one of the guys that worked with us told him,"You better go get that seat covered with that plastic."My boss said,"I bought it new.Why should I sit on that uncomfortable crap just so some guy can buy my old truck some day with a nice like new comfortable seat?"
