3/4ton springs

I'd like to beef up my 2001 1500 silverado's suspension a bit. What I was thinking of doing is adding a leaf in the rear and then maybe trying to upgrade the front springs. Will the 3/4 ton front springs fit on my truck?

I don't really care too much if the truck gets lifted a little or anything, I just want the cheapest way to increase payload.

Re: 3/4ton springs

you can add some helper bags to the rear. that will help you keep the rear level when loaded down

Re: 3/4ton springs

you can also add ford green keys to what you have now, that'll lift it a little.

Re: 3/4ton springs

hm... one of the main reasons I wanted to use the 3/4 is to beef it up, lifting it is secondary on the list of things accomplish with this. Whats all this about keys and stuff. I've heard a little bit but am not too familiar with it.
