horn relay test
while trying to get my horn to work today, i checked continuity between the green wire from the horn to the relay plug checked ok, from the u-shaped connector for the column and the relay plug, the u-shaped connector to the plug for the horn button, and all checks ok. so i checked the relay no clicking at all. but the ? is where the red goes put 12 volts to it? the ground where the black goes and check for voltage where the green goes? right. any help is greatly helpfull.

Re: horn relay test
The red goes into the fuse block and a fuse, the black wire goes into the column harness and to the horn button and the green goes thru the firewall and to the horn itself
horn button grounds the relay and allows voltage from the red wire to pass to the green Last edited by kwmech; 03-25-2007 at 12:51 AM. |

Re: horn relay test
Or you could get Painless harness and bypass the horn relay all together.
