Carb tuning

I am wondering if anyone knows of some good online resources for carb tuning? I have a 650 quick fuel, mech secondaires. I am most interested in the fuel bowl level and idle tuning. Also theories on accelerator pumps. I would think it would tune much like a double pumper. I think my fuel bowls are to high, sitting at about 3/4 up on glass on one side and 1/2 glass on other side. Can this make it run rich at idle? Also should front and back bowl be same? I did not buy it new and the PO was kind of a know it all know nothing.

Re: Carb tuning

the floats are supposed to be adjusted so that fuel is just level with the bottom of the holes or sight glass. If you can see the fuel above that point, then it is too high. A far as running rich at idle, maybe so, because the carb wants to get rid of that fuel.
