What manifolds will work on 86 305?

Ive been looking for some manifolds and cant really find any 305 ones. I can find plenty for 350s tho. Will 350 manifolds work on my 305?

Thanks guys

The 350 manifolds will bolt up. But the collector/doughnut gasket area maybe of different diameter. So that means you will need to find the correct size Y pipe or have one made. If you have any type of emissions check you will want to get the correct type manifolds with the air tubes.

Some, if not all, 305s have different mounting bolt spacing on one end of the head. The universal crate engines have two sets of holes on them so that either style manifold can be mounted. You can see the two mounting holes on the left side of this crate engine photo:

Make sure you measure the distance between the bolts, and that it matches what you have now.

The stock LG4 manifolds from sevral different cars will all work as well since they are the same. I question why you not considering a cheap set of headers? Sortys dont make noise if thats the concern.

im low on cash
i just spent $400 on getting the heads redone
and im going to have to spend another $250-$300 on a carb
im looking for performance in this 305 i just want to get it back on the road
i will be building a 350 soon and i plan to swap the heads and carb onto that so i will get headers then
