Good lift shocks?

I am ready to buy shocks for the rear of the Blazer. Don't want any crap shocks, can't afford the high dollar ones either. Any ideas?

Mike

Re: Good lift shocks?

Well, they`re not as high as Kings or other remote reservoir shocks, but I really like the Rancho 9000RSXs.They run around $80each.They`re 9-position adjustable.9-position?Prolly a bit of a gimmick.I figure soft, medium, and tight. They ride and flex real good, then can be set stiff for weight or towing.

Re: Good lift shocks?

I was talking with the Rancho guys at a trade show a few weeks ago and they said that the rsx9000 series shocks are being replaced by a new line of shocks in April (I think). They're pretty trick looking. Powder coated gray and red and where applicable they have a much larger body diameter and shaft. They're called rs9000xl's.

Re: Good lift shocks?

I am looking into the 9000's with the in-cab system. My buddy has the compressor system part (normally $175) new in box and will sell to me for $50. I was trying to stay a little cheaper but the shocks are buy three get one free right now (info on rancho site). So spend $325 for a $500ish system?
