Here are some pics of my new/used red shoes...

After much thought and a breif run on craigs list (was only offered trades) I decided to keep my truck for now.... I bought some parts... the wheels from TxFirefighter (nice guy)...got a set of trailing arms off craigslist and a 5 lug rear end from Jsbump (another nice dude) ... I havn't installed the trailing arms or rear end yet. I have some issuse with my rear end thats why I bought some new parts (see link below)... I will be installing the rear end and trailing arms after I sand blast and paint them.... I will have a 2/4 drop after I install the front and rear coils.... and I am hoping to get some 20" Billet Specialties wheels in the next few months... Just wanted to share a couple of before and after pics.. Let me know what yall think....

Nice

Red wheels, white walls and the factory hub caps is what I want to run on my '67. They look great like that.

I like it! The mags were nice, but I like the steelies a lot more. Can't honestly say why...I am kind of a stock/restification guy but I just think it looks way better. Maybe it's the white with the red...?

Trying to decide if you need a very thin red pinstripe high on the body line maybe...

Thats not a bad idea about the red pinstripe... I saw a roll of it at pepboy, I might try it next week since a real paint job is a couple of years out.. thanks for idea....

The pinstripe would look good. Get that rear end in yet?

I have not .... it took me few days to get the rear end to my moms house (because I am truckless at the moment) where I could sand blast it and make a mess in her backyard. I just started today sand blasting the trailing arms and tomorrow will do the rear end. I plan to paint everything black and next weekend I will redo all of the brake hardware and change the gear oil in the rear end. Sooo give me a couple more weeks and I am hoping to have the new 2/4 stance.

Hey thanks... I like the way wheels changed the look up my truck... I am also wanting to add the "custom" lower trim that is on the 67/68's... I looked up Groesbeck, TX... this what I found...
