Re: Look at what i came home to....

Not too bad. Could have been a LOT worse.

When I was a little kid, my sister took Mom & Dad's new '58 Nomad wagon (fortunately NOT one of the cool Chevy 55 - 57 Nomads) to Wed nite church & choir practice.

Thunderstorm came & went, & she called my Dad & said: "A tree limb fell on the car & the paint's scratched up some."

When she didn't come home after an hour or two, my Dad & I hopped in the old farm truck went down there to see them cutting a SIX-to-EIGHT FOOT TRUNK maple tree off the car roof.

Yeah, the paint was scratched up some...... & the frame was touching the street under the doors. And one of the rear wheels was up in the air when the tree trunk was gone off the car.

Later (after Dad got over being mad), we all laughed about that for years & years. "The paint's scratched up some......."
