I just had my 383 painted orange it looks nice. I couldn’t go with black, because all my components are powder coated black!

Black is to plain. Show off your engine with Chevy orange. It doesn't matter what the color or theme of you ride is Chevy orange always fits and chevy orange will NEVER go out of style.

I liked the idea of the body color which is a Aqua Pearl. I might just try a coat of it to see. If not I'll most likely stay with the orange......

What do you all think. I went and did the block the color of my truck. Should I keep this color, or Orange? Oh, no brass plugs in her yet......

Maybe for an all-out full custom, but... I'm stickin' with orange!



edit: No GM blue, no way, ever! When mine was rebuilt many years back, the guy painted it GM blue. I still hate it, looks like a damn F*rd engine. Wish I would have had him respray orange.
