new weather stripping not sealing
today i installed brand new weather stripping on my truck because the old ones were crusty and it feels and sounds like the windows are down when they are up (loud and windy on the highway). after the installation, i noticed that i could still see light between the door and the cab on the upper back side of the door. i took it for a cruise and there is less wind and sound but none the less there is still wind and sound. what else can i do? should i adjust the door so that it comes in more when its closed? how would i go about doing that?

Re: new weather stripping not sealing
You could try adjusting the striker inward but it all depends on how your door lines up now. If the back edge of the door is out slightly, adjusting the striker by loosening the bolts and pushing it inward before retightening will help.
