need to vent !!
ok so basicaly high school parking lots are a bad place to park a truck.
it all starts when i was getting my back pack out of the bed of my truck at the end of lunch to go to class. when i left my truck there wasnt a thing in the bed. then when i was driving home after school i get pulled over. why? well the cop tells me that technical i have an unsecured load. i was puzzeled. i told him that there was nothing in the back. then he has me get out an look. when i look in the bad i see all kinds of trach from burger king and pop cans and bottles. then he goes on the tell me that there were napkins flying out of the bed of my truck while i was drivig. now he didnt give me a ticket so i was verry thankfull for that and he let me go with a warning. then when i get home i realize that at lunch a bunch of my friends were in a friends car eating burger king for lunch. what really bugs me is that the friend who put it in the truck drives a 66 impala and he is verry protective of it. and gets extreamly pissed if anyone messes with it. i dont understand why he messes with other peoples rides (whitch are nicer than his) and thinks its ok. but if someone touches his its another story. hes just lucky that i didnt get the ticket. ok im done just needed to vent

Re: need to vent !!
I'd ask him how he would like a bunch of burger wrappers thrown in his trunk of his precious ride. Ask him why he takes great care of his car and why he doesn't want anyone messing with it. I'll bet you that his answer is the same reason you don't want people trashing your truck. It's yours and you take care of it and want to make it something special. If he won't listen to rational reasoning then instead of the wrapper, throw the whole burger on his car Just kidding. I don't know what the ketchup would do to his paint.

Re: need to vent !!
I say take a dump in a brown paper bag and put it in his ride. That will hold em'. Turn about is fair play as the saying goes.

Re: need to vent !!
I find trash in my bed all the time. I can't believe how lazy some people are about finding a trash can. Wrappers, cans of soda, cig boxes, you name it...I came out of Pepboys once and someone left a jug of used oil....
Some peoples kids.......

Re: need to vent !!
I suggest you go order 4 or 5 fish tacos for lunch tomorrow. Eat 3 of them and save the rest for your friend. Place them under his drivers seat and walk away. In a few days he will thank you for the kind gesture.

Re: need to vent !!
Sounds like he's got a case of "Cool Ride Envy." Unless you just enjoy working on his car (and probably not really getting anything for your trouble) I'd tell him that you'll teach him if its something that he doesn't know about. Other than that though it's his car. Let him take care of it. Especially if he's gonna treat your truck that way. Just rest assured that your could probably smoke his ride anytime. As nice as impalas are, 68 chevy pick ups have more class.

Re: need to vent !!
What is with some high school kids? My brother left his sunroof open one day at school, and some of his buddies threw a dead duck in his car. How is that even funny? Needless to say, his friends were shampooing his interior that night.

Re: need to vent !!
I know people like that as well, they think the back of a truck, must just be a large dumpster for their trash! and they dont care, of course they care if they need something moved, then they are your friends.... I just love the folks who just fling their cigarette butts out their windows, when driving... whats up with that,, I feel like just passing them and flinging the rest of my soda all over THEIR windshield..and mine wont start a fire on the side of the road either... and people think I'm some kind of lush, with all the beer cans I recycle picking them up from the front of my yard weekly (I live in a rural area) I dont care what they do, but why do I have to clean up after them? sorry for venting.. but you struck a nerve on me there as well...

Re: need to vent !!
I drove a '69 C10 in high school and had some of the same kind of stuff happening. I learned (the hard way) not to do any real damage...but it only takes a minute or two to let the air out of his tires. Not cut them, just press the stem and let it out.

Re: need to vent !!
Put a little rock in the cap. That way they will get somewhere and his tire slowly goes flat. He takes it to a tire shop and has to pay for someone to take the tire off and check a good tire for leaks. HAHA. works great. The rock will usually fall out when someone takes the cap off. genius I know.

Re: need to vent !!
You could probably put his car up on blocks like we did to my buddy's 'stang while he was at baseball practice... the whole time we were jackin' it up he had to watch helplessly! it was great, it had the gasser look to it!haha

Re: need to vent !!
yea i hate people like that to, just because I throw the can of soda I just finished in the back of MY truck doesnt mean you can to, ive got a buddy like that to cstm68 he asks me to "help" him work on his car but i end up doing all of it, partly cause i know ill do it right and partly cause i dont have the patience to wait for him, hes one of those selfnamed gearheads that isnt even close to diserving the name, i could say more but ill just piss myself off

Re: need to vent !!
Eggs up under the dash are good, a week may go by before he smells it, or a dead fish is good too. There's also skunk scent and deer urine available at hunting/tackle shops; a few drops of that in his car would be unbearable.

Re: need to vent !!
yeah i hear yeah, i try not to drive my truck to school that often, and i know ppl's trucks get garbage in them all the time.
here is the prank of all time: at lunch, borrow a jack from your shop teacher, and jack up the driving end of the jerk's car. put some blocks of wood that you custom cut using your woodshop teachers wood, and block his car so his tire is about 1/2 and inch off the ground. they guy with get in the car, and put it in and out of gear 4 times before he figures it out

Re: need to vent !!
In High School I had a 74 Datsun P/U, and I saw this kid put trash in my truck. He drove a 60's VW bug. Well one day, he was parked between my truck and our Football coach's truck. A few of us scooted the bug cockeyed so he couldn't get out of his parking spot. He had to stay at school until after 7:30 when practice got out. He was not happy. Pay back is a b!tch. I never saw him throw trash in my truck again.
