I bought some lower body moldings for my truck and was wondering if anyone has ever attached it using 3M double sided moulding tape? I really don't want to drill holes in my brand new sheet metal.

you could but i dont think itll stay for very long, go to a body shop and get the tape they use for bodykits and whatnot and use that

I used it for the middle of the mldgs, but used the studs on the ends. I would be most concerned about the door mldg at the front edge of the door. There isn't alot of clearance and if you only used tape it might come up a little and catch the edge of the fender when you open the door.

Blue they make adheesive clips for the 69-72 moulding but I would use the metal clips on the ends. The adhessive ones just dont hold by them selves.
