FINALLY figured out burb's rear A/C & heater unit

I am so tired of that assembly; first I dealt with cooling leaks towards the back of the system. Then I go and get the a/c system recharged after a year to find a very FAST leak in the high pressure side which was localized to the integrated ac condenser and heater core.

Here is how I fixed it-

I pulled the complete rear assembly out, gutted all plumbing running from front to back, removed the heater line t's up front and replaced the AC lines with AC lines without t's. It's all in the trash can.

Good riddance. That assembly was a complete afterthought. The fit and finish is horrible, the lines route in very vulnerable areas and that rear unit is almost laughable. I am very happy to only have the front assembly and plumbing to worry about now. The truck feels more reliable to me already.
