I was gonna run my spare Rockwell 221 and SM465 4spd in my 71 shortbed 4wd but decided I didn't want to put the granny 1st gear 4spd in with that motor I had for it so I went with a turbo 350 and NP 205.My 69 4wd has a Rockwell,it has had past leaks but there is never any oil or anything on the floor underneath the truck.My spare t-case/4spd doesnt leak any fluids either.

My rockwell and 465 (AKA-Big chunk of metal!) before being pressure washed,and the second is after the spare 465/221 were cleaned...Never had any problems with the rockwell.In the first pic you can sorta see the old mud grip tires and the old closed knuckle drum brake DANA 44...
